[KETTERING, OH, 4/17/19] – The Modern is proud to announce that the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) recently renewed The Modern’s accreditation for another five-year term. The renewal process involves extensive self-evaluation reporting and an in-depth on-site review from ACCSC representatives to assess the college's adherence to its Standards of Accreditation. 

According to ACCSC, accreditation “seeks to assess and enhance the educational quality of an institution, ensure consistency in institutional operations, promote self-evaluation and institutional improvement, and provide for public accountability within a peer-review framework.”  

“We voluntarily seek accreditation to ensure The Modern’s educational programs and operations are at the highest standards possible,” stated President Jessica Barry. “I’m extremely proud of how our staff and faculty embrace ACCSC’s Standards and incorporate these best practices within their department procedures and course management. “
