Graphic Design USA Names Two Students from The Modern to 2026 Students to Watch List

Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) Magazine has recognized Megan Conn and Parv Nema from The Modern College of Design in its 2026 Students to Watch list, celebrating emerging talent in the design industry.
Megan Conn, a bachelor’s student at The Modern College of Design, discovered her path after beginning college in a different field. Originally pursuing nursing, she realized she couldn’t step away from creativity and found her place in design. At The Modern, she developed a passion for web design, branding, and UI/UX, enjoying every step of the process from research to final execution. Megan approaches design like solving a puzzle, creating thoughtful work with the user in mind. Her recent redesign of the University of Dayton’s Education and Health Sciences page reflects that mindset, focusing on helping future students feel supported as they navigate important decisions.
Parv Nema, a bachelor’s student at The Modern College of Design, is a branding and UI/UX designer with a strong passion for typography and visual storytelling. Inspired by the evolution of design he experienced growing up, Parv is driven to create work that feels both meaningful and intentional. He approaches design as a way to turn ideas into clear, impactful visuals, always focusing on how design can communicate and connect. Constantly learning from the people around him, Parv brings curiosity and energy into his work, with a growing interest in how emerging tools like AI can support and elevate the creative process.
“Megan and Parv are both driven, creative, and committed to growing as designers,” shared Jessica Barry, president of The Modern College of Design. “This recognition reflects the strength of their work and the impact they’re beginning to make in the design industry.”
Their selection continues The Modern’s tradition of preparing students to build confidence, develop real skills, and create work that stands out on a national level.
