For the 14th year in a row, The Modern College of Design has been named one of the nation's top design schools by Graphic Design USA (GDUSA). The annual list honors institutions that excel in preparing students for careers in design and creative industries.
The Modern is included on the list with other well-known colleges such as Yale University School of Art, Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), and Pratt Institute. The Modern's continued presence among these respected institutions underscores its commitment to high-quality, forward-thinking design education.
“We’re incredibly proud to be included again in GDUSA’s list of top design schools,” said Jessica Barry, President of The Modern College of Design. “This honor reflects the creativity and commitment of our students, the passion of our faculty, and the hard work of our entire community. Together, we continue to push boundaries and evolve with the industry.”
The recognition comes at an exciting time for the college, as it recently launched three distinct career paths: Graphic Design, User Experience Design, and Motion Graphics and Video Design. These new programs ensure students receive focused, relevant training aligned with their career goals and the needs of today’s creative fields.
The Modern’s ongoing recognition is driven by the award-winning work of its students and alumni, and the college’s dedication to staying ahead of trends in technology, design, and creative leadership.
