The Modern Hosts ACCSC

This week, The Modern College of Design welcomed a team of representatives from its accreditor, ACCSC (Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges), to its campus for a two-day visit. Students provided feedback, and faculty and staff shared their work while learning new ways to improve The Modern’s operations.

ACCSC has accredited The Modern since 1984, setting high standards for academics, faculty, student services, and more. Every five years, it thoroughly reviews The Modern’s policies and operations and provides feedback for improvement. The Modern’s administration then implements changes that positively impact students.

The team was particularly impressed by The Modern’s innovative culture and spacious campus during the visit. The team will provide written feedback to The Modern in the upcoming months.

“ACCSC is an incredible partner and has helped us provide quality programs and services throughout our 40-year history,” shared President Jessica Barry. “Their knowledgeable team provided great insights that will improve our students' experience.”
