The Modern College of Design Students Win National ADDY Awards

The American Advertising Federation announced the winners of its American Advertising Awards on June 3rd in Nashville, Tennessee at the 2022 Awards Gala and Celebration. Alexia Woodward, a current Modern student, won a Gold ADDY for her Road Trips USA Website. Josh Marruffo, a recent graduate of The Modern’s Design Leadership Program, won a Silver ADDY for his Axie Infinity Website. This was the final phase of the three-tier national competition.

According to the organization, the American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, attracting over 30,000 entries every year in local AAF Ad Club competitions. Selection of the most creative entry in each category is affected by a scoring process in which a panel of judges evaluates several creative dimensions of every entry.

“We are extremely proud of Alexia and Josh for being recognized at the highest level of the American Advertising Awards,” stated Jessica Barry, President of The Modern. “It is an honor to have both a graduate and a student acknowledged for their extraordinary talent in design.”
