Student Advances to National Advertising Competition

The American Advertising Federation recently announced the District 5 ADDY competition results, and a student from The Modern College of Design earned awards. Students from Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia who won a silver or gold ADDY from their local club competed in this prestigious competition.

Fourth-year student Hannah Peterson won a student Gold ADDY and Student Best of Show for her Amato’s Branding. The district also recognized Instructor Leah Henderson for her involvement in the work.

“We are proud that industry leaders recognized Hannah amongst the greatest student talent in Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia,” shared Jessica Barry, President of The Modern. “We look forward to the national awards ceremony in June.”

Hannah’s work has advanced to the AAF National ADDY Competition. AAF will announce the winners at the American Advertising Awards Gala in St. Louis, Missouri, on June 2, 2023.
