The Modern College of Design is offering FREE virtual workshops and new scholarships starting September 24, 2020, to new incoming students interested in attending The Modern. Modern Workshops allow interested students to explore a variety of topics, including the design process, turning your passions into a career you love, discovering leadership abilities, and portfolio development. Students who complete a Modern Workshop can earn a $100 Workshop Award that can cover tuition, supplies, and fees at The Modern. Students could earn up to $400 in scholarships to The Modern.

The Fueled By Passion Modern Workshop–the first of the series–is scheduled for September 24 at 7 pm via Zoom. Modern graduates work as graphic designers, photographers, illustrators, web designers, animators, videographers, marketers, and more–and their passions fuel their work. In this 45-minute workshop, students will explore how to turn their passions into a career they love.

Modern Workshops are also offered to high school teachers and guidance counselors to enhance their students’ virtual classroom experiences. Teachers and guidance counselors who wish to schedule a Modern Workshop for their students can contact Cait McCurdy at cait.mccurdy@themodern.edu.
