[KETTERING, OH, 4/19/19] – The Modern is pleased to announce that Dave Nixon has joined its Board of Advisors. Nixon will serve a three-year term on the Board.

The Modern’s Board of Advisors serves as counsel on strategic decisions for President Jessica Barry and is comprised of three higher education, marketing, and technology experts from the Dayton region. Guidance from the Board helps The Modern fulfill its mission of educating, developing, and preparing students for successful careers as leaders in design. Nixon joins current members Tom Burkhardt and Maureen Davies.

Dave Nixon has twenty years of experience leading business development for technology companies across the Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus markets. He is currently a Senior Enterprise Account Executive for Teradata.
